VINCI Programme for Citizenship supports social projects

geral

The VINCI Programme for Citizenship, a counterpart of Fondation d'Entreprise VINCI pour la Cité, existing internationally in 11 countries, is the result of the joint commitment of some companies in the VINCI Group in Portugal.
Contributing towards the inclusive, sustainable development of local communities is the goal of ANA Aeroportos de Portugal | VINCI Airports, VINCI Energies Portugal (represented by Axians and Sotécnica), and Fondation VINCI pour la Cité, founders and mentors of this Programme, replicating in Portugal the already solid track record of involvement with the community that the different Foundations, Funds and Programmes the VINCI Group has been implementing in the different countries it operates in.
This Programme is aimed at supporting projects in four areas of operation - Access to employment, Charitable mobility, Housing integration and Social intervention in priority neighbourhoods. The projects supported are proposed and sponsored by group employees, promoting and reinforcing the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility.
This first programme in 2019 received over 80 applications from everywhere the group operates in Portugal. 5 projects were selected in each area and strategic axis of operation (list attached). The projects supported correspond to a total investment of €250,000.
The programme in Portugal is led by Thierry Ligonnière, CEO of ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, who said: "Launching this programme in Portugal fills us with pride. The involvement of our employees has been remarkable, and the projects supported could never have got off the ground without the participation of our people. The number and quality of the applications proved the success of the programme, and I know we will have many more good ones in the years to come, extending our impact on society and our long-term commitment."
